I like it and I would totally drive this. It has a great stance and looks aggressive. It is only a concept so I'm sure we'll never see anything like it just like we never saw anything like the fuse.

I think Scion really broke the mold when they made the Gen 1 xB and to break the mold again they are going to need to do something like one of their concept vehicles.

moving away from the exterior of the Hako...

interesting differing opinions on the INTERIOR of the hako from various auto blog sites

the Hako is a combination of form and functionality, with an emphasis on living the Scion life that the brand has fought hard to establish. As such, there's a focus on lifestyle elements that find their way inside, with storage crevices for magazines and mobile phones, flat-screen monitors and a videogame-inspired dash that would be all the rage if you were eight and it were 1992.
this concept combines a feeling of American vintage style with more than just a hint of innovation (for the interior)
i'm siding with the first comment. really, where is the advancement of ideas for the interior from what Scion presented to us in the Fuse?

the interior of scion's concepts are never at all like what they are gonna be. look at the xB2 and the t2b, not even close.

You are apparently very good at photoshop, I reeeeaaaly like the hako when you did what you did but i think the hood line needs to flow with the window line a little better more like this... maybe

^ Nameless nailed it. I just did the same in Photoshop before I saw yours. I'd buy it if it looked like that FWD or not.

Default Star wars in the front and retro chevy in the back....READ

I think that the front end does not match the back of the car. It's weird. I know from personal experience what our xB windshields go thru with cracks and chips etc I've paid for enough to know so unless that glass is made from kevlar the driver better wear a racing helmet to go with the retro look along with goggles for the flying glass that will hit him when the window explodes from being so straight up.
I try to be neutral most times on these new things until I see it in person but an ugly face still has a big butt when you look at it from behind.

OK Scion...where's the zipper? I know there's a beauty like the renditions of the other posters here on ScionLife. The nose is too long, the front end looks too wide (that's because the grills are too narrow), don't copy the Nissan Cube's wrap around rear, the windshield cannot be at a 90 degree angle, and it needs back doors. I hated GM's 2 door Jimmy's...please put some rear doors.

Someone's hooked on a stereotype.....

You can't throw a car at me I can't handle....

I've driven Super-Pro class drag racing for 20 years. I've owned 600 hp street cars. I'd ROCK a RWD tC......

enough already!

Hrm... I think they're trying to play off the success of the xB-1, and the hopeful success of the xB-2 and go ultra modern with it.

It is interesting I'll say that but.. I seriously hope they have another concept car that is better than that and will make it to market. Why can't they spin off a successful body style from Japan and run with that for us?

agreed

i'm guessing Scion thought the xB2 was going to be a runaway success that many of us hoped for as well -- thus them building this concept
if it had been, we'd all be singing a different tune

reality is harsh.... ha
