oh come on madzozs, Why even tell us about the proposed equip, if you can't tell us???? Saying it is not impressive at
all! Just tell us already, what's the big secret?? Can you at
least tell us if it will still have the DVD's in the headreast like
the old RS's... I'm not trying to be mean, just anxious to find out something worth taking to the bank.. Thanks kimBERLY

All rumors aside, I say a little prayer nightly hoping that the RS4 will have a 1.8L (1zz or a 2zz) mated to a 6 speed tranny.
I would overlook the paint (which is pretty hideous IMO) and be first in line even if the price was 20K or so for one that had that drivetrain, maybe even 22k or 24k if they threw some other niceties in with it (things like TRD suspension/rims standard, cruise control, maybe bluetooth handsfree, etc). Keep the stereo/exhaust stuff, I will handle all that myself
I keep checking out cars like the GTI and others, but simply cannot find one as comfortable, spacious, reliable and economical as the xB. From my calculations a 1zz or 2zz would have little negative impact to gas milage, if they stick a 6 speed in with it. Maybe a 2-3 mpg drop, and I can live with that!!!
I know there is about a snowballs chance in hell of that happening, but like I said, I am saying my prayers nightly and keeping my fingers crossed (hard to type with crossed fingers, but I get by)

Don't get too excited Notacop, as the way madzoz is talking, it
is not too impressive... So, don't get your hopes up, I just wish
somebody would just come out and tell us what is on the thing???

Actually madzoz was someone commenting on it. The original comment about it not being impressive was by "scionofPCFL"
And I have been in this world long enough, to take everything with a grain of salt until i see it with my own eyes, or at least an official statement.
Remember, they have not announced a price for the RS4 either. I am sure that the paint is expensive, but who says that the sticker is not high enough to build a 1.8 in there?
I am still going to be wishing upon a star until then
ditto, Kevin at the dealership said no new news, but they will call me with any info as soon as it is known to them, but he did say
they are going to start making them in OCT, and Releasing them
in Nov, So, who knows with the Dec Realease date, Everyone is
waiting, but no one is telling!!

how did you like your Mini Coop? I only sat in one once. They seem like fun little cars. Who is lighter, Mini Cooper or xB?
Well I put my deposit down on one today. Didn't have any new info at the dealership to give me. We did end up talking about the new Tundra's though. The guy was in Indiana for a factory walk-through and he got to test drive the Super Cab. He said it was a beast. 5.7L V8, 20 feet long, roughly 400hp and torque. All in all. Big friggin truck.
He did mention since the xA RS3 just came out, he wouldn't be surprised to see the info released from Toyota very soon. I'm guessing within 2 weeks, but don't quote me on that. I've been wrong before.
