Actually the Maziora bB was a red base with a greenish/gold overtone. Where the overtone color was invisible because of angle, the car is red. Where the angle emphasizes the overtone, it had a greenish/gold sheen. Between the two it is a mix of the two colors, and that is various shades of brown.

In person, it looks better than that might sound, but I personally don't care for it, and that's without even considering trying to fix any minor paint damage when it happens (and it WILL happen).

Bold choice by a manufacturer, and it will sell out because of being 'different,' but I don't view it as a feature I'd want.

 

Ever since I got my RS1tC, i've been waiting for a red box to match!

 

theres like 3 or 4 red ones out there.

 

A few years back I had a S-10 Blazer that I had painted very similar to this. I chose to go with the Dupont Tri Coat, the paints alone cost me around $1000. I started out with a silver base, then a rose pearl, and then we sprayed on 6 coats of blue pearl before the clear. The paint looked amazing, it would flip gray, purple, blue, pink and if the car was wet it would look even better. These really are awesome paintjobs, I can only hope that Scion applies a better clear to this paint than they do to the others, if not, whoever buys this and gets road chips on it is gonna have a very hard time with repair.

 

....it makes me want a root beer.

 

The beauty of it is, they only have to find 2,100 people who like the color!

Unique but ugly. I liked the proposals for blue better.

My personal favorite RS color is the xA RS1.0 Red.

 

I like it in the pics, have to see it in person to know for sure!

 

i wonder if it's similer to a color my buddy had done on his s2000. if so, pictures do not do it justice and will definitely turn out 1000X better when seen in person.
