A guy that I worked with said he saw a gold xB about a week ago driving around.

I doubt it was the RS4.. but is it possible? He said it looks just like the pic in his thread.

Not 100% sure he'd spot the color, but what if?

I like some of the pics of the color, others not so much. But it is very true that these paint jobs need to be seen in person to truly appreciate.

I went to test drive an xB on Monday and when I was leaving a girl pulled up in an Envy Green xB. I didn't even know they had made one in that color and the salesguy pointed it out. Very cool except this girl had put flower decals all over and all I could think was it looked like someone had taken a new VW Beetle and squared it off..

I don't get it, I thought the color was already set/chosen.

I do too. You really need to see color-shifting in person, but if you see enough, you can kinda get a taste of it from pics

Default Mazora

It seems to me that the color-changing scheme works best on a car with graceful lines and curves so the colors gradually shift from one to the other and the change highlights those curves. The xB might not be the ideal car for that.

good point, but if the lines are too gradual, you can't really see the color shift. If you get something like a Mustang, it has some gradual lines and some not so gradual...they look nice.

yeah, I was just confused for a minute. Thought they had changed to yet another blue RS. (would have been #4 for all those not keeping track)

Brian--you are confused because you are on the xB site and not the xA site!! See you soon at a meet--Dave

I know this is the xB (RS4), not the xA (RS3), but I thought the bBLover had said that they switched the RS4 color to Speedway Blue. Obviously a misunderstanding.
See you at whichever meet we are at together.

I'm surprised nobody has changed the title of this thread yet to spell "Maziora" correctly.
