I think that they should make something like the suzuki Wagon R... That'd be sweet.

I'd like to see an Xa wagon like BMW mini's traveler, sort of a sports wagon.
And maybe an Xb with about six more inches behind the rear seat. with a retracting tonneu cover like the Xa.
How about a spare tire that doubles as a subwoofer when not in use.....

I'll just keep my toaster(s) as is..

.just add a telescopeing steering wheel and map light between the sun visors...

and leave the rest the hell alone!.

I don't want it bigger, faster or more rounded...

If I'd wanted that I'd have bought a matrix!

just my 1.5 cents worth

If Hotbox is right, (and he seems pretty confident) my next car might be the xA replacement.

I just wonder how much the price will go up.

I saw the spy shot xB today. It was stopped and I had a chance to see a 5-lug wheel, whereas the new bB's in japan use 4 lugs. That threw me off until I read this post where you guys say its a corolla base (which uses a 5 lug wheel). it was extremely well camoflauged. It must have been a powertrain mule because I swore i saw more than whats usually seen behind the wheelwell. (was looking for the engine/trans)

I have often guessed that the xB replacement will be based on the next-generation Corolla platform.

And if the new xB does take styling cues from the T2B concept car (which is believed to be based on Corolla), the new xB will likely be the first Toyota-built model to use the next-generation Corolla platform; later, we will see the real Corolla four-door sedan and the replacement for the Toyota Matrix wagon on this new platform.

So is the proposed xB replacement 11 inches longer and 4 inches wider?

WOW thats ugly, i think they should just keep the Xb for year or two more at the least. its a pioneer of this car company, and is loved by soo many... that one is very ugly hope it does not get pushed to production!

Considering my xB gets about 30mpg and my wife's matrix xr 1.8l gets about 31mpg with a motor that feels soooooooo much better then the 1.5. I like the idea of a bigger box with about equal mpg as the matrix. sadly enough I am more excited about the xA replacement.
