Why can't we just mod our cars and tell the hyandai drivers who write the article to pi$$ off. Still not sure what a posser us tho lol

 

^ people who drive a tC with an eBay intake and fart can, and think they can hang with sports cars. It neither applies to the truly fast tC's nor to people who accept the car for what it is (and it's not a bad car). Unfortunately, if you've ever encountered another tC on the road, 90% of tC drivers fall into that category, which shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. It definitely explains why the insurance premiums are so high.

i like my tc and its the people who think they are hondas that shouldnt be driving them. thats why about 98 % of them i looked at when i was ready to buy had a salvage title or an accident!..thats why its a poser car..

The statistics and the insurance companies seem to think so. God. . . everyone is sooooo touchy. NOT EVERYONE. Just a high percentage. Yes there are exceptions; just not many.

 

Not being touchy just don't understand how someone could be that general.

 

Nobody said that all tC's or tC drivers were bad. That would be a very stupid statement to make.

Man 11 pages and this thread still won't die. You know what how many responses you would get if a magazine called Ferrari's slow? Probably few to none. Or what if you put out an article that said Natalie Portman or whoever you think is good is the worst actor/actress in the world. They wouldn't respond either. But call Tom Cruise ___ and he will suit you. . .

Going on and on and on and dramatic just gives more credibility to the rumors. . . many times because there is something behind the rumor. If it were just so blatantly untrue and impossible, than nobody would even bother wasting their time responding.

If you guys really care so much, stop bumping the thread to the top for everyone to see, and giving the article MORE publicity. Let it die. But that will never happen.

But seriously, I get so much crap on other car forums for driving a tC. Even if I never make any claims of tC greatness. The amount of hate out there for Scions is pretty amazing.

 

i read everything and i read some intresting post..... you dont know what a scion is untill you drive one... thats true, when i bought mine i wasnt thinking into wheather it was gonin to be fast or not.... but now ive come to realize how over price is and very slow, i still lovr my scion because of the people compliments on how cool it looks and they like it. but is a disappointment on how toyota/scion worry more about how the car LOOKS other then PERFOMANCE. for example, the toyota f-86 i think its called.... a very cool and nicr design for the car, mean, agressige, it would turn heads everywhere... but 200hp??????? uve got to be kidding me????? honda civic SI is 207hp stock -_- come on! what the hell is wrong with toyota? slow cars over high price???, well prices not that high, but comparing it to perfomance, my opinion is that it kinda is high priced :/. i wish i would of find out about this b4.

 

As much as I would love to agree with you, did you not read any performance tests beforehand? Did you not test drive the car??? How did you spend ~$20k and have any false impressions of its capabilities. I hope you don't buy houses without looking inside first!!!
