I'm pretty sure all they have to do to increase Scion sales is to increase production. They sell em all out anyway. That won't always hold true, but it does at the moment.

Word from Scion is that production won't increase significantly any time soon. 158,000 for the 2006 model year is the number I'm told. That's it, no more. Dealers not having to carry large inventories keeps consumer prices down. All part of the Pure Price, high value, low cost structure.

One could argue since camrys/corollas/accords/civics last so long, that when you have a bunch of 1986 toyotas/hondas in the ghettos, they're pretty easy to steal because security back then was non existent.

I love my XB, but I don't know how they sell any here in Massachusetts. I have NEVER seen a Scion TV ad, and I can't remember much of any other advertising.

Nice to see everyone did well in March lets do it again. More cars would definitely help.

On the other hand, I kind of enjoy having a car that you don't see too often. Just a show-off I guess.

That was one of the amazing things about my recent trip to Canada - people standing on city sidewalks pointing at my xB as it drove by, or drivers of other vehicles frantically flailing and waving.

Fun :D
