I'm looking forward to the performace side of the Hybrid Generatation. Toyota just needs better batteries that start the car, no more AGM junk. Then we can bridge the batteries in the back and have twice the operating range. The Prius kit already has 3 batteries and a cord to give back to the grid and keep your electricty bill down. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Mo POWER for now would be great.

as energy densities get higher in batteries, there wont really be a need for the engine, imho.
i cant wait for that.
as far as the environment goes, i know that the electricity will still be produced by fossil fuels, but (im guessing) the cost per unit energy is lower with the economy of scales factored in, and the pollution can be controlled better in large amounts at one plant, than many cars burning on the streets
