Wait for the two new colors in the 08s.
Too many FMs out there.
FM doesn't "POP" - ForceNut, you're nuts.

I do like BSP, but would never in a million years own a black car - too hot, and too hard to keep looking new.

Otherwise, I say primer is your best bet

i went with bsp....no regrets....after you wash your car, and spend the 30 min waxing it....step back, and smile your ___ off......imo, black makes it look more edgy like a sportier car.....fm a little too tame....black makes a statement..lol

Haha I love it! But yeah, BSP kicks a$$!

ScionTcYa - If you read what I wrote, I said the FM doesn't pop AS MUCH as the BSP.. they just aren't the same and you can't deny that. The darker color has deeper reflections. Just line the two up and look at them side by side...

So make sure you read correctly before calling people nuts...

FM is not a very dark grey at all.

In fact I rarely see it as grey.
Blue, green yes
But dark grey never.

I say go with your heart and get BSP. BSP rules...I get a lot of compliments about the sparkles...that they haven't seen a black car that has them. Looks good day and night...well of course if you just washed your car...hehe.

everyone keeps saying that FM has flakes on it... So does the BSP! and BSP would look sweet with a lot of mods like gold, bronze or black rims... or a clean look with anything carbon fiber such as hoods, lip kits and etc. black goes with everything! nuff said! Get the BSP!

Hey bunny-boiler, chill.
I DID see them side by side, and FM rocks compared to BSP - Which I DID say I like.
So...take a chill pill and relax gurly.
BTW, if I want reflections, I'll buy a mirror.
And BTW x2, if you know HOW to detail a car, FM can be just as dramatic.
Ba-bye!

just in case anyone was curious, i finally decided on.........

black!

it was a tough decision, but after seeing both the FM and BSP in person at the dealership, i decided that the FM was too sparkly and colorful for me (flecks of purple and teal in the sunlight). still beautiful, but the BSP better suits me... more subtle. should be getting my new tc in just a couple days. can't wait to get my tint and install my anzos! then i'll be ready to roll...

anyways, thanks again to everyone who contributed to this thread and offered their opinions! greatly appreciated

I am proud of you for choosing Black Sand Pearl. That is a very good choice. I had a hard time deciding between all the colors when I got mine. I finally figured that black just looks so clean, and with simple body mods i.e. lip kit, it looked nice and evil. I now have black motegi ff7's on my car and it's just bringing the look together.
