Default ¿¿Supposed To Have Cutoff Line??

So i juss bought these HID from http://www.hidworld.com/cart.php?target=product&product_id=16137&category_id=260
and took me bout 15-20 min to install.
Maybe i should'uve asked this question before i actually bought these HIDs but are they reliable/reputable?
And after my installation i noticed i dont really have a cuttoff line,
is this normal?

yep, you stuck them in halogen reflectors. they werent made to properly aim HID bulbs.

you need projectors to do that

^ QFT, not to mention you're more prone to getting a ticket for them.

And with that color and no aim you are blinding the other drivers. I would take them back out and go to stock rather than drive around like that.

You didn't use harness either, right? It's going to burn out your stock harness. Then you'll have to burn your pocket to get them fix. Seriesly though, you should get harness if you don't have a pair already.

I honestly think that outside of the stock hids and maybe 1% of the retros people do, the others should be removed and trashed. they blind others and create unsafe conditions on the road. And try being on a motorcycle and run up on someone with crappy hids.

Even stock HIDs are not really worth it imo. A good pair of stock halogens does fine by me, and the extra cost of HIDS is nowhere NEAR paid off by thier lifespan (how many pairs of $20 halogens do you really go through in the life of a car.. 2? 3? ) So I dont see it worth it to blind other drivers with a pair of un-aimed hids. Run projectors or take them off like everyone is saying. Especially before a cop has his way with your wallet when you blind him with them.

to tell u the truth...the 10k that i have dont really have that blue/purple to it

i believe u guys were thinking of the 12k
these are the ones i bought...

and honestly i havent had any ppl flash their high beams at me...yet, so i dont think they're being "blinded by the light"
(thats also a kewl song from the movie blow).
im still fairly new to this whole modifyfing my car and to tell u the truth thats the first mod i have done to any of my cars.
so im not exactly starting new projects fully knowing what to do.
and yes u guys are right, i dont have a harness and dont know how to build one...
but i didnt adjust the heights of the housing, i just took my halogens out and put my HIDs in
man, i bet im aggrivating u guys by not doing things correctly...but thats why we are all in here, right?! to learn!
DAMN Yanki01...ur cuttoff line is SWWWEEETTT!!! (razor sharp!)

if he installed them in that amount of time, he had a kit. w/ the kit, its real easy. i was against HID's in stockers, but my best friend gave me a pair for my wedding present. so im rocking them. there is a few glare spots, but there not killer. i havent been brighted yet, and it dosent ____ me off to drive past myself.. but yeah, its a risk.. i personaly wouldnt go over 5000K, but that is me.. i went from anti HID to neutral. still not the greatest, but i'll rock'm till they die... besides, most tickets will get dropped if you show up to court and put the stock parts back on and take dated picts... or at least they reduce it..

but for your question, no idea of the quality, its not a common name so it prolly crap.. but i guess you'll find out!
