Default hid's messing up headlight housings?

this is the second headlight i'm on... and it keeps condensing, think it;s the hids?

its how the bulb seats, some cheaper hid's dont have the rubber rib that stock bulbs do... could uuse some window indulation that has a sticky back and run it arount the base of hte socket.. but yeah.. thats what your problem is

should i make the dealer replace it? or how do i just dry it out without leaving crap in there?

It says in the manual that condensation is normal from time to time but if it turns into droplets of water that could be a sign of a bad seal somewhere, with my stock halogens i had to have the dealer replace my headlamp assemby once for both sides due to too much condesation. I havent had a problem with the replacement assemblies with stock halogens or with my HID conversions. Its 100% possible to have condensation in your headlamp without it being due to cheap HIDs, however i would recommend putting your halogens in before taking your car to the dealership because they will blame it on that if you give them the opportunity.
