Default 05 Scion tC front Grille Removal..

Read the DIY and followed it but bad result...try to pop it in from outside but nothing moves, so no screws to remove?
I got 05 grille.

Hit with your palm from outside the car. If nothing is modified to it, it will pop right out. Otherwise look tO see if there are any zipties. Don't be afraid to hit it.

If you look close at the upper tabs, one is melted(done to prevent the grill to be easily removed). I just scratched at the melted tab(I used a screwdriver, all I had with me at the time) until it was free and popped the grill like posted above.

^^ this. it helped when i removed my bumper. i replaced my top and bottom grill and they both had melted tabs to prevent from easily falling off. i just used a flat head to pry it off
