ok here's my issue, i currently have an 08 tC with the stock taillights on, i have a friend who bought some TYC taillights for his 07 tC, but before he could install them he was hit by a hit and run driver, his car was a total loss, he's ok though, after the insurance pay off he got a S2K intead, and gave me the TYC's, which are still in their original unopened box...so what am i to do, should i keep my stockies, or swap in the TYC's..any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

 

...doesn't matter. if you like you stock taillights, keep them, if you like the way the tyc's look, put them on.

you could sell whichever pair you don't need anymore. either sell the tyc if you don't want to install them, or sell your stock tails to somebody who wants 08 taillights for some reason. how hard is that to decide?

it is all in the eye of the beholder really. we can't decide what looks best on your car, only you can. make your decision and just keep the other pair incase something happens like you get rear ended or sell them.

I say stick with the 08's. I actually like them. Sell the TYC's and get something else for your car.

 

ExpresScion... thats what im planning to do, even got a buyer already, but what do you think about adding the smoked overlays, i think it gives it a nice stealth look

 

TYCs > 'o8 Tails.
It's all personal preference. Keep them both and swap them out when you get bored with one style.

 

I like the TYC's with the red overlay.......it looks sharp.......

the 08s tails have to grow on you huh.......

 

i had an NBM '07 TC and spit happend now i have an '08 FM TC and at first i wasnt crazy about the new tail lights but now theyve grown on me....but its up to you......

 

I have a BSP 08 and I hated the stock lights at first (still would prefer 05-07 stocks) but now I'm ok with them..don't LOVE them, but they start to look better each and every day

I have the TYC's and I want to smoke them, but do what you feel would look better.
