Thanks a lot! I agree with painting them. I strongly believe painting them is easier than putting overlays on. The only problem is you have to have patience! Total time including prep and install was about 3 hours. But the wait was definitely worth it!

 

I almost forgot. I have an Overlay for the trim as well . I havent added this to my Gallery yet, but I do have it

 

Fully Smoked Overlays for the 08 tails are the same kit is the pre 08, its my tct2 Full Smoke Overlay. Not to be confused with my tct108 Smoke Lid Overlay for the 08 Tails, which smokes only the top reverse lamp portion

What I like about Overlays is that they can be removed if desired if you ever want to change the look of your car . Also, alot of people dont know is that you can wax and buff them to get a really nice shine .

i have 06 tc i want to get the front upper grill wthiout the logo the same as the lowerone black i hear the only one like that is the one for the tc special edition and the deler will not sell that to me.any ideas were to get it and also the tail lights from tyc(red and white).thanks

 

has anyone taken out the amber lense on the TYC tails?

im thinking about smoking out my 08s but like someone posted up b4....i dont LOVE my tails but they are growing on me....maybe if i do something to them it will be better....
