is there a good place to wire up some leds under the hood? i tried splicing into the parking lights and the leds wouldnt work for some reason. not a fuse problem bc park lights still work!?

 

Directly into the battery w/ a fuse and just run a switch through the firewall, so that way you can turn it on and off from inside the car.

 

well it has a remote for on/off...so just put an inline fuse and then straight to battery?

 

yup, for grounding, you could go to the battery if wires are long enough, if not just ground it to any bare metal.

 

if you spliced correctly they would work; whatever method you used to "splice" probably didn't make enough contact on the wires. btw, the green wire = positive wire iirc.

as for the ground you can also splice that into the neg wire as well or ground to any metal point.
