Can we just clarify the definition of "rice" for a minute. A ricer is a car that is completely decked out in physical and exterior mods with no performance modifications. One pair of headlights does not make something rice. Considering nearly every other mod i have done to my car is arguably for performance enhancement, with the exception of the cold cathode i would hardly consider my car to be rice.

PS- go and tell a guy with a Porsche Carrera GT that his lights are "ricey" because minus the eyebrow, the lights are nearly identical in construction (projector with black housing)

 

i just hate ignorance. everything is ricey to every other person. you cleaned your car too much!!, rice!! guess what, our cars are made by toyota, theres rice somewhere in the car..

 

hmm rice.. i havent heard that word for a while now... only when my mom saying something about "cook rice!"

btw i got pulled over omw to SJ on friday night.. near midnight. Knowing the freeways there ends and begins... i got pulled over doing 43 on a 25.. arrrgh.. this is my first ticket-.- i dont know what to do T.T

 

You know what, I tried to say that in the most nice/settle way, plus this topic has been discussed miliions and millions and millions of times, but since i didnt explain myself clearly enough and you want a better discussion, here it is:

Those angel eyes belong on VIP status bmw cars, not your scion. Wings belong on supercars not civics/accords/tCs, its the same damn concept. No supercar? -Sorry, no wing for you. Cant afford a BMW? -dont make your tC look like one. Same vice versa, i cant afford a BMW, but that doesnt give me the right to transform my tc's exterior into one.

You like it, good for you. I really really think people should always buy what they like not what other people like. But dont deny your status.

 

i like the headlights kinda just not the black ones, the chrome looks cool imo

Racing seats are made for race cars... Not tCs

 

You should take the racing seat out of your car then since they should only be in RACING cars.

hey mspecht nice pic... congrats!! hehe... though pics are pretty big.. was kinda hard to look at em. But seeing the output of the light.. its pretty good... more lights in the center

 

thanks, sorry for the big pics-- i tried to resize them to be smaller but they didn't shrink. I was driving tonight with the lights and the output is fine, still could be a little better in the center. I need to shift the right headlight to face more right to fix the jagged spike in the middle (not pictured) But other than that i could give a damn what the cutoff looks like as long as i can see and people aren't flashing me. I'm sure if i get the cutoff close or change anything else i'll post more pics. thanks guys.

PS anyone in the NY westchester area. Come to the scion meet at the palisades mall commuter parking lot on 6/10 I'll be there.
