Has anyone installed an hid kit on their 08's yet?

Yes. I recall seeing them in all the hype about the '08 lights.

 

An HID install for the 2008 is pretty simple. Just find a place to mount the ballasts and plug them in. I'll get a few pics later and put em up.

 

Ya theres no DIY needed. If you've ever changed out bulbs in any car you can do it cuz thats all your really doing. Mount the ballasts some place, plug in the light bulbs.

 

Does anyone have pics of them in a 2008?

 

Install is easy. If you have an 08, then just get an H11 HID kit and you are set.

If you have an 05-07, order a custom kit with H11 bulbs and the 9006 harness. Whoever you order it from should do it at no extra charge.

is anyone having issues with the h11 base (mobilehid) in their 08 tc? i cant seem to fit the bulb in!

 

I had the same problem with the McCollough, you have to just keep rotating it for it to fit properly.

 

fixed it, i shaved a little off the edge of the large knotch
