What do you mean by "cutoff fix"? Projector headlights are designed to have a cutoff.

The only way to fix the "ghosting" would be to swap the projector lense with one from a TSX or 350Z. AKA retrofit.

However u can fix the squirrell spotters by bending down the little metal tab inside.

Yup -- people forget that the 08's are not made for HIDs. Just a better option than most for the tc. No matter how much "aiming" you do U will still not have a crisp sharp cut off with 08's. PERIOD.

thats what I was asking, how to make the cutoff crisp and sharp... well I guess now I know that the only way I can do that is to get a new lense... but what about the cutoff shield? I heard there were problems with that too...

The HID's you talked about - operatic's form 3bspec.com. 140 buck shipped overnight - are those the simple plug into the headlight wiring harness of your car? Or, do they have the cable that runs to the battery with the fuse, low-voltage relay that is triggered by the headlight switch? That's the style I'm looking for....

DONT GET THAT KIND THEY ARE KILLERS! Believe me, people pay EXTRA for that harness for a reason! I do automotive electronics and you want that relay becasue HID's draw much much much more power than standard bulbs! Mobile H.I.D. is the way to go

at startup they draw much more power... then they run at less wattage once on (35 watts as opposed to 55watts)

I haven't looked at my headlights, but can you fix the squirrel spotter issue without taking the headlights out or opening them up.? Any pics of this process.?

yes here is a link (I know it is a toyota site but it is the same for us)
http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/sh...=192949&page=4

you can just either bend the tab down (inside the projector bend the little tab down to cover the whole) or you can do the jbweld like the guy on that forum did...
