Hmmm...when I stopped at my dealership for an oil change after work, the parts guy told me that the plugs for the LB looked different too, but that it would still fit perfectly with the 05-07 models. He said they only look different but fit the same. I wonder if he had checked?

are these halogen projectors? or are they made for HID?

also, is there even a HID that will last long? i mean all of the HID kits usually blow out.

Hmm think TRDSPARKS will do a GB on these when we all figure out how hard/easy it will be to get them converted over?

I'm not a fan of GB's to be honest because 1/2 of the people who sign up never go through it. Trust the price we offer will end up being cheaper than anyone else.

As soon as I can order both sides we will have these. Apparently that are out of right head lights. Go figure.

Assuming they are both 9006 (05-07 is the 'L' shapped base and 08 is the straight kind) ... the green cap in the 08 harness and the same red cap in the 05-07 harness come out and are swapable. The outter part of the harness can be swapped as well, notice the brownish red base on both is the same.

Look at it from these angles. You'll see why I don't think it's a plug and play.

I see what you're saying but even the high and low beam harness bases are the same, the only difference is the inner and outer parts which keep you from using the wrong bulbs in the wrong sockets (9005 to 9006).
The sockets Toyota used in the tC are not a single cast piece like the ones they have used in the past. I know this as fact because I've had the inner part get stuck and come out in a bulb before. I just popped it out of the bulb and right back on to the socket.
If you swapped the inner and outter parts from the 08 to the 05-07 you'd have the exact same socket.
My assumption is that the projector in the 08 takes the longer straight base 9006 bulb (as do the Integras and most other halogen projectors) and that is why there is a slight difference in the harness parts. I don't think you would get the same light output if you used the shorter 'L' shapped 9006 bulb due to the incorrect positioning of the filimant in the projector.

...all this said, I could be completely incorrect.
