If I have some time on Monday, I will go to the Nissan Dealership and see if they have that plug on them so I can compare the two. Thanks Josh.

as for the plugs being different... you literally could just go to a parts store and buy a generic h11 plug, cut and splice.

my old car (94 celica) used 9006 bulbs. after i got my JDM projectors, which used an h1 bulb, i just cut off the old plug and spliced on the new one and it worked perfectly...

kinda a rough lookin job, but it did the trick.

perhaps it'll be the same with these...

Is this safe? Sounds like an easy soldering job, but I'm not sure if that's safe

I am going to the Nissan and Mazda dealership today. I had one question though, if people get these harnesses, they are going to splice the connecting harness and then will connect the H11 harness into the car. What if we use the 9006 harness and splice the actual headlight instead of the connection on the car? Would that work or no? I am not an expert on electrical so I wouldn't know. Thanks SL.

Won't work only because the head light only accepts the H11.

It's totally up to you. Just wondering though how much are you getting the projectors for your retro fit for?

well i'm doing it myself.

i found a busted up m3 at the junkyard so i got the headlights for 100 bucks with the ballasts, projectors and lights. so all that i will need is the labor. Basically i got a steal just because the guy had no idea what he was selling me

I went to Nissan and they said that they did not have the H11 harness for the Altima Fogs. Josh is going to check on that but that is what they said in Dallas. I went to Mazda and they said that you have to buy the whole harness and that costs 2534 dollars and some change. I went to my local Toyota dealer and he told me that the update in the system for the 08 parts will be in a couple of weeks so if I cant find the harness by them, Toyota will definitely have them. Hope that clears up questions about the harness.

Yeh, we did a retrofit on our '05, but from a TSX instead, and then made them HID's too! I just LOVE them!

Well if you get a deal on projectors and are handy then yes it would be. IDK what putting an HID kit in these is going to do to them but that would solve the harness problem. Just a thought

That's funny, I didn't even think about that. I'm sure many people who want these will be running HID's in them, so I guess for those, it will work just fine.

I spoke with Josh today and went to the Toyota dealership and in a couple of weeks, the parts lists' will be updated with the new 08 listing and then, the little harness will be available for about 8 bucks and maybe another 6-10 bucks for the wires. For a great set of projectors IMO for about 400 for the pair with the added maybe 20 bucks, for the harness and wires, you cant really beat this. With retrofitting, its expensive/can be expensive and can be very hard if you dont know what you are doing. I just can't wait to get these.

Thank you again for all of your help with the tire questions today.

well honestly i want HID's. so add another 150 and that brings it up to 550 for the set. i can do a retrofit for 500 and with the retrofit i know they'll be awesome projectors.

but not taking away the business from josh just saying if you can find a good deal on projectors thats the way to go

OK I'm still waiting on the lights to arrive but I now have pricing. They are going to be $199 each + shipping. When I know I have them in my hands they will be on our site under the 2008 tC only and I think shipping is going to be around $8 each. I'll keep you posted.
