I was gonna say dang! I thought ours was low for $199 each, $144 is a steal! Seriously they must be stolen! I'm kidding, that is a bangin' deal.

 

Can anyone tell me if the 08 projectors have a nice sharp color shift at the cutoff line like tsx projectors with HID's?

 

damn they look good on ur car. Very Nice!

 

They have a purple tint at the top of the cutoff.

I scratched the HELL out of my driver headlight the other day... there was something rough on my sponge! It looks so bad I want to replace it but there is no way I am paying 199 plus shipping for one!

 

go to autozone and get some stuff called blue magic. apply to the headlight and buff it with an orbital buffer.

 

Its possible it was even the sponge itself. Those HL covers are really soft plastic. Use microfibers from now on.

But just think if we drove bimmers they would be $800 for one.

if u want the actual fogs then u gotta go to www.vertexracing.com

u can just buy the fogs and put yellow bulbs in it, but i have yellow bulbs plus the yellow over lays so their extra extra yellow



oh and if u think yellow kills your eyes, u shoulda seen my hids i used to have in my fogs,


this is the reason i went with the 2008 projectors and the yellow fogs cuz my cut off was horrible

 

did you guys mod anything to make the nipple light on those projectors clear instead of orange? cuz my friend has an 08 tc & his lights have that ugly orange circle.

 

late question:

How wide is the beam pattern compared to the the 05-07 reflectors? I drive down poorly lit streets and I would like to be able to see the street signs and or little critters running onto road from the brush.

 

man i cant wait til i get my paycheck so i can get a set!! hmm i wonder what the last couple guy was saying about that nipple thing.... the turn signal?? couldnt you just get a stealth bulb?
