ok if you want to use your halogen lamps you'll need to solder

if you want just a pnp you'll need to get a HID kit with h11 bulbs. for example ozniums HID's will pnp with an h11 bulb

Well, if you use an HID kit, then the ballast will just connect to any stock harness and you can just use the H11 bulbs and there is no soldering needed. If you wanted to go with halogen bulbs though, thats when you need to buy the H11 harness from that website and splice it in. Whenever I get the head lights in, I will double make sure of that.

Josh, I want to thank you again. TRD Sparks is amazing. I love their customer service and helpfulness to all of their customers. Take care sir and I can't wait until I get my head lights. I will be sure to post pics for you.

I just sent payment to trdsparks for my set. I got my H11 HID bulbs in yesterday. I agree, Josh is the guy to see for parts. Now all I have to do is wait for the projectors...

OK! i just wanna make sure what im reading is correct. I have an 06 with HIDs. If i want to run the 08 headlights all i would need to do is buy an H11 low beam bulb and an H1 high beam bulb and it will work? If so, Ive got some saving to do.

Exactly

So I gotta keep the H1 bulb for the high beams? or can I put halogen bulb on the high beams without any splitting/soldering?

Waiting to see an install with pics before i move out on this. But definitly has my interest peaked. Maybe make the switch to HID's if all i truly need is to just get a kit and plug it up and go without splicing everything up.

To those of yall who bought the headlights, i expect pictures of install (HID and for the folks that decide to take the Halogen road)

what is the worst thing that could happen if u put HIDs in these headlights? Really bad glare? nothing serious though i hope like melting of certain parts in the headlight.

i still cant get over the bulbing and nipple thing that they added to the cover.

anyone thinking of switching 5-07 headlight covers to the 08 headlights? it looks like it should clear with no problems

then everythign should look alright asthetically. i dont know it will make the beam pattern worse though or worse if the projectors will melt the cover lol.

The bulge is there for a reason, its not because someone just randomly thought "hey lets put a bulge right here" and i do expect pictures, cuz if i did it first people would expect pictures too

As for the folks that think the orange of the headlight is too much.... Servco let me play around a bit this evening and switch out one of the turn signal bulbs with one of my PIAA mirror orange bulbs from my baby so i can see if they would fit. The result, well.... Spectacular if i do say so myself.

Now im either waiting on someone that does the swap and puts pictures up, or me to find the extra 6-700 dollars to do the full swap how I want to.
