I'm going to keep it as low as I can for and long as I can. I'm trying to not throw up a flag by ordering a ton of these lights all at once. We have found that when we do that they like to block parts. I have no idea why that is though.

O.K. I am a liitle confused. Is the consensus that the easiest way to replace my 07 heads with the 08's is to buy a complete HID set-up?

If so, which one do most folks recommend, and if I go this route will everything be plug-and-play?

Sorry, sometimes I can be a little slow.

Short and skinny version is if you have and HID kit already them all you need are H11 bulbs for your ballast. If you don't have an HID kit them now is a really good time to upgrade to one. Now in the event that you do not want HID's you will have to buy 2 H11 plugs and splice them into your exsisting wires.

so no one else is thinkin of modding the 08 lights to put on 05-07 headlight covers?

it looks like it will clear but using it with HIDs have me fearing that it might burn the lens.

but then again the 08 setup has the bulge, projectors but no actual HIDs. as far as i know the bulb is just a standard halogen bulb. so why would toyota put in a bulge in the headlights? unless they anticipated owners to put in a HID kit.

Because there is a projector and it sits closer to the lens. I would think that is has something to do with the heat but that is just a guess. You really can't even see it unless you are right up on it standing in front of the car you would never even know it.

if you don't have anything useful to say that would help out in this thread, then you should keep your insulting comments to your self, k?

back on topic

im eager to see these lights installed in a '05-'07, im sure they would look great, and have that oem quality that has been lacking in most of the projectors made for the tC.
