Can you photoshop a picture? I don't think it would flow well with the tC1's bodylines.

Perhaps the tC2.

But then again, I drive a refrigerator.

Yeah I'm not good with photoshop lol I wish or I would have already done that. I looked on the internet for a picture and couldn't fine anything. And I think it would be pretty sick maybe I would have to get a different bumper so it would line up.

Yeah that one is pretty sick but I want it bigger I think I seen that one already. I want to make the hoodscoop functional I want to move my intake up there. I want to make it professional and I'm going to be boosted soon so I was thinking leave an area for air to cool the engine and turbo? Not to sure if that would help but sound good in my head haha

Do you really think I would get that much water because STI and the Mazda do it but they both have an intercooler there.

Exactly, they have an intercooler that can handle water. An intake is not designed to take water, and is an easy way to hydrolock the motor.

Yeah I wouldn't want to put an intercooler up there what's the point of keeping it cool if your just going to put it on your engine

What? The Subaru system is incredibly efficient and most power builders prefer a top mount then a front mount. Its efficient because the cold air from the hood scoop goes right into the intercooler, plus the piping system for the intercooler is incredibly short. The long piping in an intake system regain heat easily and it takes more effort to push that air through.

Well I always see Subarus around town with front mount intercoolers. But I don't know how hard it would be to put and intercoolhood. there and made it match up with the hood.

So if i put a Front Mount intercooler do you think i would be able to make the air from the Hood Scoop flow down to the intercooler?

if you have a front mount why would you need the air to travel from hood to front? the front would catch the air just fine, you are kinda not making sense at all.

you wouldnt put a intake with hood scoop because the chances of hydro lock
you could put a top mount intercooler, but that would require more mod for the tc.

The tC isn't aggressive enough for a hood scoop. Note how the Celica GTS came with both a scoop and a huge wing, but it had the crazy lines to go with it.

The Celica donesnt have crazy lines. Yes it does have some nice body lines that go with the car and the HoodScoop but the Tc is deferentially aggressive enough for a HoodScoop. I guess its just how you make it

Yeah because most cars look like they've been sculpted with a butter knife...

Yeah i have always liked the Celica just wish it had a bigger engine. Do you think the Tc looks like it was sculpted with a butter knife? And I think that the Tc would look good with the Mazda HoodScoop i just wish i could see it first. Maybe i just really like the way that hood looks.

You generally don't make a whole lot of sense when you post. To run an intercooler, you must have a turbo or a supercharger. If you don't understand the point of an intercooler, google it. A hood scoop on a tC isn't going to cause any sort of "drag" that you'll be able to notice in any respect. If you want a hood scoop, they make stick on ones that will work perfect for you.
