I'm sure it's just not my car, but why did they make the 3rd brake light so long and only light up the center.

Definitely not just your car. No one really knows though. Maybe they didn't want to go through the trouble of illuminating the whole thing. But I think there's actually a mod in progress on the forum here to light up the whole thing. Not sure though, would have to search around.

 

I hate the way it looked with only the center lighting up, so my dad is going to fix it for me. He's good with all the electrical crap. He's doing my dash this weekend also.

 

They didnt know what else to do with that area, I guess

 

I wished they had lit up the whole thing. However, I'm working on a new Brakelight Overlay you guys might like
