that looks nice. i want to order some overlays but i need to figure out what is legal around here and also i have heard that bluebats overlays are a bit thin and hard to get on.

 

Actually, I think overlays might be harder to apply if they were thicker. Keeping them thin probably allows you to conform them easier to compound curves and over stamped part numbers on the plastic, etc. I just used the hairdryer to fix the troublespots.

 

oh okay. the problems i had heard about were fromt he plastic melting too easily with the hairdryer.

Indecisive311, I'll post a night pic ASAP. However, I looked at the light with the brakes on in my garage and didn't notice much difference in brightness.

Im not going to do the taillights. The reverse lights maybe. I got a ticket for taillight covers a while back on my camaro and it was $200. Its called "Intent to modify". Wont make that mistake again. BTW it was in Orange County and there was no option to get it signed off as a fix-it ticket.

 

I been wanting to see some over lays on lighter color cars. Was thinking of atleast doing the third brake, but would like to see it both smoked and red out.

 

Go subtle, my 3/10 tint would achieve that .
