6000k HID, the color is slightly purple!?

i don't know whether you were talking to me or the orignal poster, but i def. have 6000k HIDs. I have Kaixen and my friend has real phillips HIDs, both of ours in 6000k and they are white.. I have a few friends with various cheap HID kits (250 bucks and below) and theirs have a wide range of colors, but none perfectly white (which i prefer). I also have an acura TL which comes with HID's and its more yellow than my 6000k's on my tC.
