Default 9005 & 9006 Bulbs

Would the 9005 bulb go into a 9006? Do you have to do some kind of fitting? Will anything happen if I do?

Nothing will happen, its actually better to run a 9005 to a 9006 harness if you ever plan on going aftermarket bulbs. 9005 run less or same wattage but has a brighter output.

the 9005 bulbs also don't have that little cap on the end of the bulb. i think the cap is there, so that the light coming out of the bulb is projected on the reflector and does not come directly from the bulb (to reduce glare to other drivers)...well at least thats what i think it does...if not...someone correct me...higher wattage would mean less life too, right?
