Default Advice on accessorizing my ride

Hey SL members,

I've been thinking about several mods to my exterior and I just end up getting mixxed up with ideas so if you guys could help me decide that would be awesome.

I already have eyelids being delivered which will be painted the color of the car and I do not plan on getting a body kit or lip kit soon, I just want some advice on small mods that will set my car apart from the crowd! So bring on the ideas

Thanks, here are some pics to help out. Photochopping is welcome

Well I thought of that too but I pulled up to far in a parking lot today and scraped the bottom-front on the curb, which kinda scared me a bit (but no damage thankfully) and if it was lowered it would have ruined the front bumper.

I was serously thinking about that though! ugh, I hate the roads in Florida

oh no! if i post in this thread, i'll be telling somebody what to do!

chrome turn signal bulbs are a nice touch to clean up the front alittle. some vrd foglights always look nice.

as for set it out from the crowd? how so? lowering gives it a very nice slithering stance. i love the way mine looks with the trd shocks and springs.

maybe a classy set of aftermarket wheels?

and ofcourse the honda s2000 or element antenna!

good you took the joke well.

i always find that slang word to be very uhmm.. lame.

kinda like trying to make it sound more important or cool.... like trying to call a dodge neon a really fast car by adding stuff and changing it's name... (no offense intended.. but it's still a neon! (and i won't deny that it is a bit fast))

anyway... rims and lowering the car will clean up the appearance. after lowering the vehicle you'll just need to pay more attention to how you drive over bumps, curbs.. etc.

Yeh that was a pretty good joke (SquallLHeart) . I MAY lower it but how much does it usually cost to get the springs installed ( NOT BY THE DEALER because I'm not what you call an expert at that stuff?

(draxcaliber), Is there any websites other than ebay that you can provide for me about those chrome turn signal bulbs, I'm not much of an ebay shopper.

Thanks, keep bringin the ideas

sorry, don't really know of other places to get scion tc bulbs other than ebay. i got mine off ebay, the arrived fast, and i've had them on my tc for over a year now.

another cool set would be silverstar turn signals. they look blue, but when they light, they actually illuminate amber. but they are kinda pricey.

you could do turn signal overlays for your mirror turn signals.

maybe change your led parking lights in your headlights if you haven't done that already.

Silverstar turn signals as stated they look great around $45 I think. Lowering is also good. I'm in WV so lowering is pretty much a no-no unless its bagged so I feel ur pain on that lol. Mirror overlays a must. No offence but the angled exhaust IMO looks a bit ricey. I kno alot of ppl have it but like I said just IMO. The S2K antenna is beautiful an u can get it for like $15-30. An HID kit with projectors would look beautiful and smoke overlays for the tails (that includes the 3rd brakelight) that would really make it look great. IMO at least. Hope this helps.

Get either a 3rd brake light DIY kit or exchange it. O5_TRD_tC did a perfect job for me, The LEDs are super bright!!!

What type of chrome-amber turn signal bulb should I choose ( TeeCizzle )? There are several different number types on Cardomain.com. As for the antenna, Ive heard of too many being stolen and I dont want to deal with that locktight stuff. Im really interested in the turn signal bulbs though. Still thinkin about lowering it. Anyone with TRD springs post a side view pic or two so I can see the space around the wheel-well.

Thanks for the suggestion everyone I'm still watching.

I dont recall if I replied to your email or if it was someone else's but I purchased it from trdsparks.com for $209. It really looks awesome up close and I've had several comments from other Scion owners.

roads up here in eastern washington suck too... but i ordered tein coilovers for my BSP tC a few weeks ago and Ive just been practicing pulling into spaces. they give you a lot more room than you think... and me and curbs dont get along too well...

but its surprising how second nature it is now to not pull all the way up... im not worried about cracking my bumper at all anymore. ya just got to teach yourself.
