Anyone know of anything coming out? I've seen people add their own LEDs in a ghetto workshop, but I'd like to keep my stock parts and purchase actual retail parts.
I see my tC just asking for those to have LIGHT!

 

u mean switching out the 3rd brake light for what though?
its already clear and has a red brake light? wait... is our 3rd brake light a LED light?? now i cant remember... or is it just 1 red bulb?? someone have pics... since right now.. im in the midde of hurricane ophelia.. here in wilmington NC lol

 

The third brake is LED... but the thing is that it only covers like 1/3 of it in the middle. The sides are just there for looks. The other mod someone was doing was to make the full length light up with LEDs. I didn't care for the final result... but it's a good start.

I doubt there'll be anything coming out for it in the near future.

 

I hope its sooner rather than later...
I've seen other cars install a aftermarket LED that blinks according to the turn (right blinks with rightside LED blinkers and so on)... I think that would be awsome if possible..

No offense, but it doesn't look fully consistent all the way through.


What I'm suggesting is a piece that'll look even & true on both sides.

 

I actually saw it in person. Even though it might look uneven in the pic it looks really nice in person. You can make it better if you do it yourself maybe?

 

I think that this is a great idea... especially the wave thing... to the direction tha tyou are turning... BRILLIANT! I believe someone has achieved this already... Cant remeber who though...
