Alternative tC Emblems
So I've been looking around for an alternative tC badge to make my ride just a "lil bit different"
my Requirements were:
1) Must be from the Toyota Family
2) Must Incorporate "tC" somehow
3) Must belong to a Direct Relative of the tC OR a Toyota model that is no longer being manufactured
and here's what I ran into

The Grille Piece will be re-painted and will sit flush over where the Scion emblem currently sits ... now I just need to figure out what color to paint it.

I dunno, but that could be from an older Toyota "Crown" or "Cressida".
A little to "Bewitched" 60's style for me. Remember those stars around the cartoon Samantha and Darren when the show starts up? That type of star is also used by Lincoln on their emblems and the Schwinn bicycle company.

Good call, I was actually planning on Dremelling the "X" portion of the grill piece.
And you're right on the first Guess.... it came from a 70's Toyota Corona that looked like it spent part of its life autocrossing (SCCA stickers on the windows) and was spending its last days in a Junk Yard. It seemed like a fitting tribute to a noble heritage for the badges to be carried on by the future generation of Toyota
Paint it black. Nice contrast on SSM. I'm in the process of painting my scion emblems black. Probably a matt black. I ordered new "Scion" & "tC" emblems incase it didn't work out for me. Good luck and post pix when you're done.
