clearcorners.com (not to take away their thunder) uses led arrays offered by Radiantz in those tC headlights

i was going to purchase the supplies and build it myself instead of going through them. pretty much mimic their's and just have the eyelid.

hir stands for halogen infrared. i'm using them in my car. rather than 9006 and 9005, they come in 9012 and 9011 which have to be modified a little. i think ge and toshibe made these bulbs, but they're not really around anymore. there was a guy on ebay selling them a few months back, don't know if he's still around. they do seem brighter than most other bulbs, including the silverstars or luminics-i had both. the only things about them that i don't like is that the color is almost the same as the stock bulbs and they were kinda expensive for bulbs. if u want whiteish or blueish light like an hid, it's not the way to go. then again, if u really want the hid look, get hids. here's a link to info about them: http://www.hirheadlights.com/. there are also a few posts on slife about em.

Clean look.
are you happy with the HIR bulbs? They look pretty decent...does the cut off stay the same as stock?
thanks. I wasn't originally going to go w/ the color match, but shortly before any work was done, i changed my mind. as far as the cut off, i'm not sure what that is exactly. i'm very happy w/ the HIR bulbs. they are a little expensive, but as far as light exposure when driving, they are awesome.

That's sick. How much did the entire mod cost in the end?

These remind me of Acura RSX head's.

They look pretty good.

While i like them, I just don't think it's my cup of Tea. I like the blacked out look of the stock housing.

Currently using 9012 (HIR) for low and 9011 (HIR) for high. They emit about twice as much light as the stock and barely use a little more wattage.

A simple swap of h/l beam bulbs was done. B/c no adjustments were made for how and where the bulb would be directed there has been no change in cut off.
