Too much chrome. And the eye lids look horrible.

 

How about baking the new projectors and replacing the headlight cover with the OEM one? So that you don't see the top round LED's, yet you're still able to see the lights from it.

 

thats waht i was thinking then paint the chrome housing black. it hink it would look good.... actually i ALMOST went to buy these just now, but 1 word hit me like a ton of bricks...

Yes, there is nothing different on the headlights for 05-07 tCs.

If they really look out of place, I will consider painting the housing to a gunmetal black, and attatch some real projectors in there. I can't say anything about he eyelids yet, cause I need to see them in person, but the OEM eyelid attatchment sounds like a real good idea.

but WHAT is the fasination with having the eyebrows light up somehow?

These are the ones that I am looking at, they are about $100 cheaper, they look the same, but I was worried that these halo's are not the Cathodes. should I just ditch this sale and buy the more expensive one?

It doesn't say anything about CCFL halo's, all the other sellers are using that as a selling point, but not k2motor. I called a represenative, he said the Halo's were LED's, but I think he was clueless.

 

ditch the g h e t t o chrome and make them black and they would look ok.. even the led eyelid... as they wouldnt stick out so much... but i do like the led's up there, its the chrome that is killing me.. and i think they need to be amber.. too much white IMO..

 

just wait til they come out with a black housing one... it wont be long. then buy some color matched vinyl eyelids to get rid of those hideous led eyelids.

 

the umnitza ones will come with a black housing when they are finally released, the white was only done on the one guys so they could see if it would be cost effective to have the housings painted whatever color as an option. it isn't so the housings will be black.

 

This first time buying stuff though Paypal and Ebay is a little more difficult than I thought! being the first time, I think I am going to get my second refund becase of unconfirmed address!!! ahhh third time's a charm thought

 

im so so so so so so so tired of waiting for umnitza. im tryna stick it out but it shouldnt have taken this long. they musta been fooling around too much in the beginning when they woulda had the drop on everybody. im gonna end up buying sumthing like these soon if they make a black set just cuz im tired of putting all my eggs into the umnitza basket when they are pushing the release back months at a time. i want quality but this waiting is getting purely absurd.

i may try that baking to use the oem lenses on these projector assemblies. that'd look very good.

 

That's one of the reasons I got these, I was so into Umnitza's release I basically held off modding anything on my headlights. Since these are more attractive than any other aftermarket headlight, I'm going to get these and do whatever modifications to make these look even better. I'm sure Umnitza's headlights are going to be great, but I don't want to risk waiting months at a time.

 

thats the problem w/ these companies that say there gonna do somthing for ya, it takes forever to do... same thing for my old car, projector headlights took over 18mo for them to come out w/ them.. then only made 30.. so.. i pity the people who get all excited and say there gonna wait, but end up waiting for FAR to long.. myabe not w/ umnitza, but seems like its taking a while..
