IMO. no

chrome headlights are just as bad as chrome taillights.

 

Get the black ones

 

Yea, I kinda liked those too. I figured since my car is Silver, the chrome would look better.

 

whichever you end up with, make sure you bake em apart and seal them correctly with additional silicone.

 

Get black. The chrome ones look like ca-ca. Get an eyelid (CF or poly resin) and it won't look half bad.

 

Why is that? I'm a complete noob when it comes to this. I know sad. But hey.

all the aftermarket projector headlights i've seen have fogged up BADLY. by baking apart and then adding additional silicone, they won't fog up.

 

Hmmm, good to know. That'd ____ me right on off if I got those and they fogged up on me. Now, if I only knew how to bake my light apart. Thanks neothin

 

check the tech section for the umnitza angel eyes DIY. there's some baking instructions in that DIY that i used. worked great.

Maybe throw a pack of silica in each headlight while you have 'em apart as well.

 

good advice ^ that's what i'll be doing with mine when i get around to re-doing them.

I'm glad I asked around first. I guess you get what you pay for. I would like to DIY but I just don't have the guts to really take my car apart in any way. The most I might do is put on new tail lights. Thats easy enough. I don't know about baking and drilling

bah, everyone gets freaked out about baking. It's really not all that hard.

 

Looks kinda cheap and too flashy for my taste. Go for the black!

 

I really want the look of those. I like the prjector with the angel/devil eyes around it. Damn, so my only other option is to build them myfelf I'll blow my car up somehow if I try and work on it. No one has any they want to sell?

 

I say take yours apart, paint the inside to match the car, and then add projectors to it. Makes working on your car much more fun and take pride in doing it yourself.
