My girl has a tc and she wants a set of tail lights, but the only ones out there are from TYC. Dose anyone know if there is another company that makes them, or that is going to make them? Anything would help thanks

 

hmm.. no word about any companies making them.. (and well... for anzo... releasing them)

 

I spoke with the owner of the tC that has the prototype Anzo tail lights and he said they were "going through some red tape" with DOT approval and that they would be released this summer.

I bought the TYCs. In fact, they are my next mod. But I'm adding my own flava to them. Can anybody say "Touch up"? Stay tuned. I'm sorry, but I don't like the Anzo tails. They don't look much better than the TYCs. Maybe somebody will release something nice for us soon.

 

Do you know how much money someone would make if they created a G35 style (LED circles) tail light for the tC? I think about half the people considering tail lights on scionlife would go for em. Unfortunately I'm unskilled, anyone up for a challenge?

 

Does tinted count as a seperate type of tail? I like the look of mildly tinted tails.

 

i think it has been done by someone one the forum..use the search...the person that made it made it for himself and imo i didnt like how it came out.

 

yeah, you're right, I just found it. Doesn't look too amazing. I think it would do it more justice if they weren't smoked. I dunno, the design needs some tinkering with, but I think it could work. Maybe the Q45 tails would look better (two overlapping circles). hmm, time to start up photoshop.

Not new but different -- and IMO better looking than the anzo's

 

i did a search but didnt find any custom ones.. a link maybe? LOL.. im looking to make my own.. thats what i've done in all my other cars.. got a set of tails cheap off ebay.. i hate the led ones avail now.. custom stock lens, but w/ an led halo.. well, we'll see....

 

I agree! I'd be on them in a second, as long as they're not too chromey (if that's a word).

They look pretty good....I would like them better not smoked for one, and I could also do without the small "whiskers" at the edges too....but all in all a great effort, very original.

I think that the biggest difference would be to try and pack in more LED's into the circle so it looks continuous and not dot-dot-dot around the edge. Any takers?

 

thats what mine are gonna look like... now i might have to change it up a little..
