HID's have a cooler running temperature than normal bulbs so I doubt it was the heat, Perhaps it was a voltage problem. Happened to me when I first put my 6k in. passenger side went out, I replaced the led's with some superbrightleds.com 6 high flux blue led's had them for over a year without a problem.

im not sure if the bulb itself somehow blew cause honestly if HID blew out the parking light im sure i wouldnt be the only person with this problem..i got them from customtc and they said probably the heat but i took them out looks fine goona have the test the bulb itself to make sure its the bulb and not the socket itself

How are the ballasts wired? Do they use a relay and independant power direct from the battery or are you using only the factory harness? HID's use less power, but to start them up they pull a momentary draw of 20,000 volts. The current needed to drive this impulse can burn out stock harnesses unless a relay is used and the ballast is driven direct from battery power.
