I painted mine "Low Gloss Black". Didn't care for the charcoal/dark grey look of them originally. Here's some pics...
Front

Rear

Side

Honestly, I forget they're there. They look rather stealth. And YES, they do work.

They look great, what did you paint them with, & what kind of prep did it take?

I've got them and had a local body shop paint match them for $50 and they look sweet. I'll try to get you some pics.

Yes especially down dirt roads with rocks, or the little rocks when the DMV is prepping to lay new asphault down

Im feeling the red out on the TYC Tails Hyghgynx gives it a nice touch!!! By the way painting the mudguards makes them look 100x better. I have a superwhite and im going to color match mine also should look great if any has pics of a SW tc wit white mudguards please post

It's one of the easiest mods (excluding install. ) ever. All I did was:

1. Wipe down the Mud Guards with rubbing alcohol. (To clean them up.)
2. Let them dry.
3. Spray 4 to 5 coats of Dupli-Color's "Low Gloss Black" Engine Enamel.
4. Let dry 10 minutes between coats.
5. Spray 2 to 3 coats of Clear Coat.

WAH-LAH! Painted Mud Guards!! I agree. They do look much better painted! Either black or color-matched. I saw color-matched SW ones (Kilo6_one has them) and they looked hawt! Cool deal about the Mud Guards is if I want to color-match them, it would only run me $30 for a new pair of Guards.
