I ordered mine back in February and I still have not received it yet. Does anyone else have this waiting issue. I call Coi every now and then and all I get is that there is a shortage of CF and that I just need you to be patient. February people! What should I do? Seibon is coming out with a CF hatch for the tC this month and it comes pre-drilled for interior panels (which are currently being molded into new CF panels!!!). Seibon quality is top-notch! I have the MotorFX vented CF hood and I like it a lot but I don't think I can wait any longer for my hatch to come in. Last I called maybe two weeks ago, he hasn't even started on it. Not to bring down MotorFX but, how do you expect to sell your CF products if your out of it????

I heard the MotorFX hatch fits perfect. I ordered it because it comes pre-drilled for the interior panels and Coi is going to drill the license plate holes for me as well. I'm stuck!

Any other vendors have the MotorFX hatch in stock? Or just any other ones?

 

I'm afraid you out of luck bro. Even a local shop told me that there was a shortage on CF so it'll take a while before you'll recieve anything.

I love my Motor FX hood. I would wait. Every CF company is going to have this same problem right now. Boeing and Airbus as well the Army are buying up all the c/f. Everyone is in the same boat.

 

yes it is true. companies are having problems getting carbon fiber. vis has a message about it on their website. they actually went to a weave that is twice the size of what we are use to seeing on cars.
