Anzo halo projectors dissected! *UPDATED pg1* (56k warning)
I disconnected them and covered the holes with the eyelid from the stock lights, which I painted black. Also painted a scion design on the amber reflectors...
We just had a meet here tonight and got a few compliments... I'm pretty happy with them now. And definitely glad they're finally back on my car! I'm just a bit nervous about the seal... hopefully they'll hold up in the rain we're supposed to get tonight.
Wasn't able to get any pics today tho... ran out of time earlier, and then it started raining a bit at the meet.

how do you use the stock 9006/9005 bulbs with these lights? I am getting a pair of chrome ones soon and plan on painting them black and leaving the curved part chrome, but would like to be able to use my 9006/9005 silverstars.
Both sets that I have had needed the passenger headlight adjusted. Expand the inner hole with a razor blade or a RC car "reamer".
The other thing I noticed is that the bottom of the headlight does not have a bracket that the bumper slides into. It gives the appearance that the headlight and bumper aren't completely flush (only noticeable up close...but the reason why I got rid of mine).
The only other adjustment needed is to align the beam pattern. For some reason they come straight from the factory aimed at the ground. Align it using the **** located in the back of the headlight.

Geez that's one of the worst designs and poorest built headlight and components i've ever seen before in my life. The light is emitted like garbage because the shield is not aligned with the projector itself thus creating such horrible cutoff. Also, those shields come like that on valeo's(audi's) to illuminate road signs.
and the retrofit on that tc headlight, the projector is seating too far back onto the reflector.
