Default Anzo's dead? Please help

Short Story: my left Anzo tail light doesn't work any more; at all. No brake lights. No tail lights. No blinker. No reverse light.

Long Story: At first just my left blinker wasn't working and thus my other blinkers were all blinking rapidly. After checking connections, it appears that it has something to do with the resistor box (Not sure if thats what it does, but the little box that you plug into the harness of the tail lights). It had damage on it from coming loose and getting hit around. My dad took a look the tail light and after testing a few connections with a voltage tester, successfully fried all the remaining lights in that tail light. I'm not too worried about this however, because I'm pretty sure this was just a blown fuse. (I have yet to check)

My question is: what exactly does that little grey box do? and does anyone know if it can be purchased separately?

you're talking about the ballast. I'm sure you can order one. Can you take a pic of it and what's the name and serial number?

Have you checked your fuses to rule out that you JUST BLEW A FUSE???

There are no markings what so ever. I'm at work right now but I can take pics later.

I'm 100% positive that the blinker problem is not fuse related. However like I said before I'm thinking and hoping that everything else is.

When I get home to night I will swap the ballast from the right tail light to the left to verify that my left ballast is the problem. I will also check the fuses for the brake lights to make sure I don't have a bigger problem.

Does anyone know if the right and left brake/tail lights are on different fuses similar to the front headlights?

The transformers for the anzo ccfl halos goes bad and causes the fuse to blow. That fuse controls the tailights, parking lights and headlights. When that fuse goes due to the anzo's, you lose all of those functions. Blinkers are on a different fuse and thus, you are correct that that is a seperate problem. The only fix is to determine which anzo headlight is bad, and replace it, only to have the problem again after a random amount of time. I'm currently dealing with this problem as well.

he's talking about the tail lights, not the headlights. And yeah you most likely blew a fuse. Make sure to disconnect the battery each time you mess around with the connections. Try flipping around the connections. Trial and error switch one connect the battery and see if it works. that's what i did for a long time and i eventually got them all to work.
