I'm not really satisfied with my OE headlights and I want to get some brighter good for rally ones...

Which brands are good long lasting bulbs that doesn't melt anything?

Also, are the PnP HIDs dangerous for the tC?

My friend's CRX with Ebay "china JDM" clear headlight housings and wirings burned to black/melted when he installed an also Ebay PnP HID kit in a box...

wait, are you looking for headlights housings or headlight bulbs? Or both?

For bulbs, either do a 9005 retrofit or get HIR bulbs (which are NOT the same thing as HID)

does anybody have pictures/videos of HIRs. i'd like to see how they compare to HIDs. i have silverstars now and wanna know if the HIR bulbs are any better.

I have 9005 Cool Blues in the low beams. Brighter than stock, but I'm still going HID soon.

 

Definitely go with PIAA, they are pricey, but you get what you pay for. They have several different colors

I wish they made a real nice head light for the tC. I think the 07 so far are the best out of all of them.

does 08's headlight fit in earlier models?

 

They fit in my '05, and it doesn't get any earlier than that.

 

pinks, go HID. if you buy from the right people on ebay (sellers with warranties and good ratings), you shouldn't have any problems. HID or bust if you're really unsatisfied with the stockers.

 

Did you have to modify the 'o8 headlights in order for the 4300K HID to fit and function properly?

 

No sir. I ordered the HID kit with H11 bulbs, and it was a 15 minute install.
