Yeah the 08s do have hot-spots, but they are a big improvement over the 05-07 lights performance wise.

seen them in action, nothing to drool over. It probally would of looked better IMO if they made a nice chrome shroud for it.

I read the HID FYIs just now and read that the FYI is crap!

It says there that I could easily burn the housings even if their OEM.

Are those true? And may I see a tC with an HID PnP for a long time now and always gets driven at night? (that will tell the quality of the kits)

Also, are those HID mods good quality and who here has em?

Thanks!

Hey Dr Isotope could you post pics on how the cutoff look on the OEM headlights and did you had to custom mount them or are they a direct replacement for the 05?

I'll try to get a few pics of the lights tonight.

They bolt right in with no problems at all.

forpinks-- HID bulbs actually run cooler than their halogen counterparts. Most HID lowbeams only use 35w, compared to 51w or 55w for a halogen.

Last question, Can someone show me a pic on where the ballast is mounted?

Thanks!

Found this in Operatics thread

I use to be very anti-plug and play HID kits, but honestly I don't think the glare is that bad at all. Its not that much more glare than my 9005 retrofit. Cutoff is pretty decent too, Overall, I'm very happy!
