Default Best way to restore a CF front lip? any help/suggestions please!

so I have an RS1 front CF lip, its not dull but has seen better days. what's the best method to restore this? it does have spider crack and stuff, but I want it to basically be shiny again.

Clear coat? which kind/brand if possible? and should I sand it down? (which im trying to avoid.)

I basically just want to add a clear coat over the existing coat, would this be a bad idea? thank you everyone for the help in advanced

take it to a body shop to get it sanded and re-clearcoated. anything using rattle cans wont be as shiny in the long term and will require regular up-keep.

I figured that woulda been the case, just thought maybe I coulda done sumthing to avoid that. I jus don't know how much they'd charge me to do so. I only spent 30$ on the lip itself frm a buddy locally.

Before painting, you could try using a fine polishing compound on it and re-waxing. it really depends on if the fading is on the surface or all the way through the resin. If it's down to the carbon fiber itself, I'd recommend not bothering with clear because it won't fix it. Instead, just get it painted to match the body color.
