Default Bike rack dilemma

Anyone have experience with bike racks? I am at a loss as to how to take this situation. I have the pedestal spoiler, so I have no idea if the trunk rack will work. Does anyone have any experience with the trunk rack + pedestal spoiler?

I would definitely prefer the roof rack, but it's a little bit too pricey for right now.

Thanks everyone.

fold the seats and toss the beast in the back!
i would have to ride my bike everyday to even consider putting a clunky roof rack.

I personally like the looks of a roof rack. Check on Craigslist for a good deal on a used one. I almost got a Yakima rack with 2 bars and all of the mounting hardware for 150$ but someone got to him first.

I agree, tossing it in the back is a great idea. However, I will be packing my whole life into my car as well, so there will be absolutely no room to spare for my bike. I am left with three options, really: Roof rack ($$$), Hitch mount ($$), and the trunk mount ($).

I just need some advice on people who have the pedestal spoiler and the trunk mount. If no one has any comments on this I guess I am gonna go to REI, and buy the Yakima KingJoe2, and pray it fits. If not, I will be shelling out some serious dough.

I would say look for deals on craigslist, i got my yakima rack on craigslist for 320 with 4 towers 2 48" bars, 2 58" bars some q clips, 2 bike trays, a fairing and all the locks. I sold the q clips and 58" bars to buy the q83 and q99 clips to fit the tc.
