Roof mount bike rack for 07 TC

If I could go back in time, instead of my roof rack I would have opted for a hitch mount with one of these:http://www.1upusa.com/product-quikracksilver.html that would have saved me some cash. really easy to remove and hard to steal.

It's a pain taking off the front wheel especially if you have a 15mm axle. It's going to add wind noise and it's easy to steal the rack with whatever you have mounted on it. Unfortunately I clipped the carport and dented the roof where the rack mounts so now I have to keep it to conceal the damage.

If that isn't enough to convince you, buy a Yakima Q-tower system and install it properly.

 

Yakima Def. you'll look like a hipster but it is def. worth the money. Or do like I did and search craigslist. Got my rack really cheap. Just pieced it together. GL
