please don't do it. Dude lambos don't even do lambo doors anymore. it has gotten to be played out. Like the WOW factor has disappeared bout them.
sadly your right, they have been played out a ton and the WOW factor has been gone for a very long time, luckily for me i do not have any intention on getting it for show, purely function, these damn doors are so long i'm sick of it with a vertical kit you barely pop out the doors. i've dinged my doors a couple times and these things are just too long! lol.

um u do understand that they aren't for function? in the winter time the gas doesn't comress as well so the door doesn't hold up as good, and u have to adjust them all the time and parking in a parking garage (GOOD LUCK). Research them first.

um yes i realize that lol, all very obvious issues.
A) i never park in a parking garage ever
B) The gas will be fine, my friend has a lambo kit and during the winter it works just as well

C) as far as adjusting it.. i dont really care much, never heard that complaint before but there is always a sacrifice to something and if monthly/weekly adjustments are the sacrifice than so be it.

okay, just because a few *cough* hundred *cough* thousand.... people ruined lambo doors doesn't mean i can't go and get a kit, once again, its not for wow factor, although it does look cooler than doors going sideways imo, anyone who gets a vertical kit just to say "hey look how cool that is!" is fooling themselves. so i do not understand such opposition to what someone else does with their car. i mean its not like i'm tossing on a ridiculous spoiler or anything.

lawl at that guy.

and dude feel free to get vertical doors. If you really want them dont listen to people who tell you its ricey/waste of money/played out because its your car and you should do what you want and like. You dont have to let the thousands of civic owners who put on lambo doors ruin your fun. Just be prepared for people to comment.

The point that I was really stressing is that lambo doors do NOT have any sort of functional advantage, they may look good but they are much more inconvenient than regular doors.

Civic owners lol X-)

well personally i prefer the feel of it (especially since my driveway has a high grade slope and the doors sometimes yank at the car). especially at school where everyone parks like an idiot and i'm sure my car will be hit a couple times before i graduate, sometimes i can barely get out of my car (darn mirrors on the other car mostly) however when my friend used to go to school it was definitely easier to get out of his vertical doors.

around my area at least, i do not see many lambo doors, so i don't really see the harm in it, if someone calls it rice i really don't care to be honest.

just one question, anyone know a good quality kit that does not cost outrageous prices? I've heard good things about chaser aerodynamics "GT Diablo 90 degree kits" but i saw a youtube vid of an ebay vertical door kit where it knicks the paint, the doors sit offset to the car when shut and leaves a hole to the outside in the corner of the car. (not sure what make that one was.

if your gonna do it buy from Vertical Doors Inc.

their kit costs $1,449.00, so its a bit pricy but you get what you pay for. Their kits are high quality and they honor their warranties.

haha yea I was afraid I would see good ole Vertical Doors Inc. lol

well by buying anything else i would break my time honored rule of you get what you pay for which is exactly what you said as well.

lol I hate how the hook looks when you install the splitter..if you could get the splitter on without using the hooks then I say keep the splitter but then again...why dont you get the RS1 lip and install the splitters with it and be original
