my rears are rolled with no bolt holding the bumper on, and i still rub like i'm carrying a tank in my trunk. and i actually had 245/40/17s mounted on the wheels when i bought them, but after my friend and i test fitted them onto the car and saw how the fender and tire hugged each other and didn't seem to want to let go, we laughed our way to the tire shop. they were good tires too, bstone re01rs... ah well, my car will never see any track time anyway.
ahh gotcha. which coilovers are you thinkin of getting?

Actually I just bought tein basics. The car is due out of the shop on weds and I didn't want to wait a week or two for other brands. Teins were in stock and I don't plan on going super low. The way pete sits is perfect for me

 

hmmm sounds good, Basics were my 1st choice back when I was browsing for coils but I read somewhere that you needed your oem mounts or something like that and the F2 and B&Gs came with their own mounts.

Still waiting for you to post pics when it gets out of the shop though :D

if you're talking about the pic w/ the flat black bumper (which was supposed to be glossy... midnight garage rattlecan paintjob ftl), yeah, i took out the goldish ring from the front and left both spring perches wedged against the bottom mount. i left the rears alone since they dump fine without any mods.

And were you talking about the top ring on the coilovers. Someone told me that if u remove it you'll notice a little more noise coming from the struts.

Another reason I think the rpf1s look better on yours is cause u are running the full lip kit. All I got is the front

 

i have only the front rs1 and rear oem lip with stock sides.
