Default Bluebat tailight overlay on 08?

For those of us who have the big ___ circles in our tailights, would it look better to put a more smoked/dark overlay on them? Does anyone have pic? I know bluebat have them but I want to see them on 08. Because the more I look at my tailights the more I dislike them. I want an overlay that is "legal" per say (not 100% smoked) and still be dark.

Depends on where you are about tinting or doing anything else to your tail-lights. I hated mine so much I paid for the TYC's right off the bat.

no I want want to know + see if tinting the 08 taillights would look better because I'm starting to despise the taillights more everyday.

bluebatmobile's smoke tints are either 3/10 or 6/10.

get the 3/10 full tail light tint then. The reflector has to be visible and anything darker that stock is already considered illegal. so if you want legal, don't overlay the reflector. You can overlay the other "butt ugly" circles all you like, but it's illegal to cover the reflectors even the slightest bit.

Do you have a better angle with better lighting for your tail? I can tell enough light comes out so I'm not asking for a ticket but I'd like to see them without light in normal day light. Thanks for the pix though

my tail isnt smoked so it doesnt matter how much light comes through really. I would advise against a full smoke on the 08s because you can still see through to the shapes and its a bit awkward IMO... for example:

Rather than smoking out my full tailight I put an eyelid on to cover up the upper chrome part, heres a better pic:

just have bluebat cut you one as he has colormatched vinyl :-)

Doesn't someone on sl have the 08's tinted but left the chrome reverse light untouched? That might look pretty good
