I seen a few people here with them but I have yet to seen a 08 with them. Do you guys know if it'll work with 08 and how it'll look?

 

I don't think they'd be a good idea on an 08, since that's where the reverse light is.

so say if I were to do it, does that mean my reverse light wouldn't go through or just not as much?

 

Ive been thinking about this for a while too. Not sure about bluebats talllight overlay, but today I was in a hobby shop and there was spray paint that was for stained glass, came in all different types of color. You may try something like that in a silverish color. Sure it won't be as clean as bluebats overlay, but would show thru.

 

but I don't want to spray paint anything, overlay is easier to take off anyways.

 

on my 06 they shine though at night. but during the day, just the lower part shines. i love them.

 

but are the 06 same position as 08? like as in the top part is reverse light?

 

well i guess it would shine though if the reverse lights are on, just not as much. Im not sure im understanding what you asking.

 

like you know where the top upper side of 08's light is reflector light? is that where it is for your 06?

 

I can make an 08 specific lid and leave enough on the bottom for tyhe reverse light to show through. Who'd be down for that? Pre 08's I leave alittle space so you can see the signals .
