I did a search but if i missed the topic i apologize. Im looking into getting a body kit but it has to fit over my intercooler. will the kaminari or the buddy club 2 kit fit over an intercooler? also is there a recomendation for a hood with a vent for a turbo'd tc.

 

Well, I looked in your profile and that intercooler is huge, so honestly, I think any body kit you get, it will have to be modified no matter what, so I guess I would just go with the one you really like; I have seen a tC with a Kamanari kit, but it had a Dezod turbo, much smaller intercooler, I have not seen a buddy club kit with a turbo on it yet, I have also seen the touring kit with a Turbonetics kit, once again, it comes with a much smaller intercooler, soorry, thats all I have, hope this helps, good luck.

 

i figured the size of my intercooler would be an issue. thing is i have removed the stock bumper to allow for fitment of the intercooler so im wondering how close to the frame of the car these kits sit and since no one i know locally has either its making it difficult to decide. if there are any local hampton roads virginia people that would be willing to let me see your kits i would like to take a few measurements to see.

 

i know more of you have kits over intercoolers. did you have to do alot of cutting on the kits?? i didnt cut my stock bumper at all to fit that intercooler btw.
